Atelier.

As part of the expansion plans of Cocina Abierta Restaurant, the owners asked us to convert an old accessory building on the back of their restaurant into a collaborative kitchen and restaurant for their private events. The result is an elegant but fresh space that uses its new interior height and the precise location of the openings to bring natural light in and enhance the eating experience. The selection of the construction materials and well as the colors were selected to create a connection with the main restaurant but at the same time give the new space a unique character that can stand on itself. The project opened its doors on February 2016.
